Security guard Alvino de Pedro Jr., who works for the Tarsier Security Agency, was positively identified by four employees of the Premiere Development Bank branch as the lone suspect in the heist.
Superintendent Roland Bustos, Calamba City police chief, said only the four employees, three of them women, were left inside the bank when De Pedro announced the heist at about 6 p.m.
Bustos said De Pedro, who has guarded the bank for more than year, pulled out his caliber .38 revolver and ordered the employees to lie face down on the floor.
He then ordered one of the employees to open the vault where he scooped about P3 million to P5 million in P500 bills and stuffed them into a duffle bag. He then casually walked out of the bank. Jaime Laude
