Police clueless on killings of DPWH official, daughter

KORONADAL CITY Police probers were still clueless on the gunslayings of a district engineer of the Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH) and his 20-year-old daughter in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat last Thursday.
Superintendent Danilo Posadas, Isulan police chief, said investigators were still groping in the dark on who gunned down DPWH-Sultan Kudarat district engineer Norodin Ali Magarang, 53, and his daughter Norofy.
Reports said the Magarangs had come from the Isulan public market when the gunmen, riding in an unlicensed motorcycle, blocked the path of their Ford Everest and fired at them with caliber .45 pistols.
Before escaping, the attackers fired their guns indiscriminately, wounding bystander Agustin Duhaylungsod.
