Cagayan cops clueless on ambush

TUGUEGARAO CITY Police probers were still clueless on the ambush of a municipal trial court judge and his driver in Baggao town last Thursday afternoon.
Chief Superintendent Jefferson Soriano, Cagayan Valley police director, said investigators were still gathering information to unmask the ambushers of MTC Judge Nathaniel Pattugalan of Baggao town.
Pattugalan and his driver, Antonio de la Cruz, were waylaid along an isolated stretch of the provincial road in Barangay Masikil, Baggao town.
Pattugalan, who managed to trade shots with his attackers using his caliber .45 pistol, survived the attack with only minor gunshot wounds. De la Cruz, however, was killed. Charlie Lagasca
