KORONADAL CITY Eight counts of rape have been filed against the four high school students accused of raping a 14-year-old girl inside a boarding house in Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat last week.
Senior Superintendent Paniares Adap, provincial police director of the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Police Office, told The STAR that the rape charges were filed Friday by the victims parents, through the assistance of police and social workers.
Adap said the suspects were arrested after they were positively identified by their victim.
In her affidavit, the victim said she went out to take her lunch to their house but while on her way home, the suspects approached her and invited her for lunch in one of the suspects boarding house where she was allegedly molested.
The suspects, however, denied the charges.
