Another Isabela bgay head gunned down

CAMP ADDURU, Tuguegarao City Exactly two weeks after the killings of two barangay chairmen, another village chief and his companion were killed in an ambush in Gamu town last Sunday.
Chief Superintendent Jefferson Soriano, Cagayan Valley police director, said the Gamu ambush claimed the lives of Jaime Baliuag, chairman of Barangay Dammao, and Felimon Roque.
The police said the victims were on board a motorcycle when they were fired at with an M-16 Armalite rifle and a caliber .45 pistol in Barangay Buenavista at about 12:15 p.m. last Sunday.
The ambush came two weeks after Felimon Gacayan, chairman of Barangay Calaogan, San Guillermo town, and Pascual Gumaru, chairman of Barangay San Marcelo, Angadanan town, were waylaid.
The two, along with Gumarus daughter, Mary Jane, 19, and grandson Novy Gumaru, 12, were killed on the spot when the van they were riding in were sprayed with bullets. Charlie Lagasca
