Senior Superintendent Abner Cabalquinto, deputy director of the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) police, said murder charges have been filed against Yoshiyuki Tsukada, 47, and Yoichu Muramatsu, 57, in the killing of businessman Takaaki Yushina.
Witnesses saw the two suspects, who are believed to be hiding in Japan, fleeing from a waiting shed in Barangay San Bartolome in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, where Yushina was found dead with a bullet wound in the head.
The two suspects are believed to be members of the Yakuza, a Japanese criminal gang. — Arnell Ozaeta
