CLARK FIELD, Pampanga Two mild earthquakes rocked Baguio City, Pangasinan and this province at about 2:04 p.m. and 2:17 p.m. yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the first temblor, felt at Intensity 2 here, was traced to the fault line in Iba, Zambales.
The second earthquake, monitored at 2:17 p.m., rocked Baguio City and San Roque, Pangasinan. Felt at Intensity 3, it was attributed to a possible "splay" of the Philippine Fault in La Trinidad, Benguet.
Baguio City folk commemorated last July 16 the 1990 earthquake, measuring 7.7 on the open-ended Richter scale, which devastated the summer capital and other parts of Northern and Central Luzon. Ding Cervantes
