"We likewise strongly condemn any radical action that will further threaten the political and economic stability of our country," Bienvenido Cariaga, the president of the chamber, said in a statement.
Members of the chamber said that they respect the decision of the administration officials who resigned but remain steadfast in their belief that following the constitutional process is the best way of addressing the current political turmoil.
"Instead of plotting extra-constitutional ways to topple the current leadership, we urge Filipinos, especially Davaoeños, to work together to protect and ensure socio-economic progress for all," Cariaga added.
