Family of 4 killed in collision

LEGAZPI CITY Four members of a Quezon City family, who were returning home from a vacation in the Visayas, died on the spot when their owner-type jeep rammed into a passenger bus in Guinobatan, Albay yesterday morning.
The police identified the fatalities as Leodegario Caintoy Sr., who was driving the jeep; his wife, Norma, and their children Leodegario Jr., 21, and Leo, 27. Caintoys daughter, Lea, 23, survived the mishap.
Investigation showed the jeep swerved into the opposite lane and nearly hit a passenger jeepney. Lea got thrown out of the vehicle before an onrushing St. Jude bus smashed into it, killing her parents and two siblings instantly.
At least six passengers of the bus suffered minor injuries.
