8 hurt in grenade blast

COTABATO CITY Eight bystanders were injured in a grenade blast that rocked Kabacan, North Cotabato Thursday night, the 22nd bombing in the area since 2000.
Lt. Col. Franklin del Prado, spokesman of the Armys 6th Infantry Division, said the victims were treated at the government-run University of Southern Mindanao in Kabacan.
Police still have no solid clues on the grenade thrower nor his motive in pulling off the attack.
