ANGELES CITY Police raided another cybersex den here last Saturday, confiscating not only computers linked to the Internet, but also "sex toys" apparently used by its female workers in entertaining their foreign credit card-paying customers
The city police, headed by newly installed chief Senior Superintendent Policarpio Segubre, said the cybersex den, located on Tamarin street in Clarkview Subdivision in Barangay Malanias, was allegedly owned by one Marissa Madarag and Peter Greening who eluded arrest during the raid.
Police rescued nine women, aged 21 to 28, during the raid.
Barangay Malabanias hosts several entertainment establishments catering mostly to male foreigners.
Earlier, Chief Inspector Efren Miranda, head of police Station 4, filed charges against Madarag and Greening following reports that the house was being used for the cybersex trade.
The raid was covered by a search warrant issued by Judge Irin Zenaida Buan of Regional Trial Court Branch 56.
Since last year, police have uncovered four cybersex dens here, prompting Mayor Carmelo Lazatin to create a task force, led by Senior Superintendent Jimmy Restua whom Segubre replaced as city police chief last week.
SPO2 Romeo M. Amarillo, Station 4 investigator, said charges were also filed against Abring Madarang, 37, and Len Neroza, 33, who both admitted that they were the caretakers of the cybersex den.
But five of the nine rescued women later cleared Madarang and Neroza, claiming in a joint affidavit that the two were in the house because they attended a birthday party there the previous night.
