Reds abduct 2 Albay militiamen

LEGAZPI CITY Communist guerrillas abducted two militiamen in Camalig, Albay last Tuesday, six days after the suspension of military operations in the province and in Camarines Sur lapsed.
Alan Madera and Henry Nabor, both civilian armed auxiliaries, were seized from their homes, the military said.
Military operations in the two Bicol provinces were suspended to pave the way for the release of 1Lt. Ronaldo Fidelino and Pfc. Ronnel Nemeno last Aug. 18.
In Davao City, rebels seized two lumad chieftains, Datu Manuel Butig and Datu Rogelio Manambay, last Sunday. Butig was freed the following day while Manambay remains in captivity. Celso Amo, Edith Regalado
