4 hurt in Batangas grenade explosion

Sto. Tomas, Batangas Four persons were hurt including a policeman and his one-year-old son when an unidentified suspect lobbed a hand grenade in front of their house here the other day, police said.
Chief Inspector Raul Tacaca, Sto. Tomas police chief identified the victims as PO2 Jujardin Velasco Sr., 24, assigned at Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) in Muntinlupa City police; his two sons, Jujardin Jr., 1, and Napoleon, 2; and a friend, Carlito Mendoza, 47.
Initial investigation showed that an unidentified man aboard a red owner-type jeep lobbed a fragmentation grenade at the victims residence at Blue Isle Subdivision, Barangay Sta. Maria here, hitting the victims in different parts of the body. The victims were rushed to the Mercado Hospital in Tanauan City. Arnel Ozaeta
