Wealthy Isabela widow, maid killed

SANTIAGO CITY A wealthy widow, who owned the biggest construction and hardware store in this Isabela city, and her maid were stabbed dead by two young robbers yesterday morning.
Police said Rosa Dy, 70, owner-manager of the Lichia Construction Supply in Barangay Centro East, and her helper, Aurea Cabanting, 47, died from several stab wounds.
The two suspects, Ricardo Cinco, 21, and Noilan Pineda, 19, were arrested. They stabbed the victims after Dy refused to open her stores vault. Lito Salatan, Christina Mendez
