Cagayan de Oro stude rescued from captors

A Cagayan de Oro City student was rescued unharmed from his kidnappers by a joint team of the police and National Bureau of Investigation in Bukidnon yesterday morning.
Chief Superintendent Nicolas Pasinos Jr., Central Mindanao (Region 10) police director, said 16-year-old Abdul Baunto, a student of the Beta Christi School, was rescued at about 7:20 a.m. from a shanty in Sitio San Dionisio in Barangay Indulag, Takalag town.
Two suspects were arrested during the rescue operation. They were identified as Ronel Hundayag, 24, a college sophomore; and Jonathan Bermudez, 18.
The rescue team confiscated a fully loaded M-1 Carbine and a caliber .517 revolver with bullets from the suspects. Christina Mendez
