Uratex owner’s ‘kidnapper’ falls

Police arrested one of the suspected kidnappers of Uratex Corp. owner Robert Cheng in Jaro, Leyte yesterday.

In a report to Camp Crame, Chief Superintendent Dionisio Coloma, Eastern Visayas police director, said a combined police team nabbed Allan Celebre by virtue of an arrest warrant issued in connection with the 2002 ransom kidnapping of a certain Uy.

Cheng was kidnapped in 2001. His company manufactures foam and beds. — Christina Mendez
