Supercat 10 is now in Puerto Galera

CALAPAN CITY The Supercat Fast Ferry Corp. (SFFC), a subsidiary of the Aboitiz Group of Companies and operator of Supercat 10, is now serving the transport needs of some 712 resorts and other tourism related establishments, this city included.
Puerto Galera Mayor Aristeo Atienza, who graced the simple maiden voyage ceremonies of Supercat 10 at the Balatero Port, said that its entry in Calapan will boost the tourism potential of Puerto Galera.
Supercat 10 also serves other popular tourist destinations all over the country like Bacolod, Iloilo, Ormoc, Tagbilaran, Dumaguete, Larena, Dapitan and this city.
The idea of requesting Supercat 10 to service the Puerto Galera route was broached by former Tourism Secretary and now Senator Richard Gordon after his visit to the province.
Local officials, in expressing sincere appreciation for the effort, pledged their full support to SFFC.
Gov. Bart Marasigan, for his part, said in a statement that this kind of tourist-related developments will greatly enhance the development of Oriental Mindoro.
The SFFC announced that before the month ends, it will also sart serving the Abra de Ilog Port in Occidental Mindoro, as requested by Gov. Jose Villarosa and Rep. Josephine Ramirez-Sato.
