Aftershock jolts Compostela, Bislig

An aftershock jolted Compostela, Compostela Valley and Bislig, Surigao del Sur at 4:11 p.m. last Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said yesterday.
The aftershock that followed the Intensity 5 tectonic earthquake in Tagum City last Sunday night, was felt at Intensity 3 in Compostela and at Intensity 2 in Bislig, Phivolcs said.
Phivolcs said the epicenter of the aftershock, which registered a magnitude of 4.7 in the Richter scale, was located at 44 kilometers east of Tagum.
Last Sunday nights tectonic earthquake was also felt at Intensity 4 in Mati, Davao Oriental, Intensity 3 in Bislig and Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental, and Intensity 2 in Butuan City and Davao City. Felix de los Santos
