Antipolo bet’s car shot at

An unidentified man fired at the Nissan Safari of Antipolo City congressional bet Josefina Gatlabayan the other day, minutes after she had alighted from the vehicle to attend a campaign rally.

The incident, which left a hole in the window on the side where she was seen seated, scared Gatlabayan but she vowed to continue campaigning.

Gatlabayan, wife of incumbent City Mayor Angelito Gatlabayan, is running against former Interior and Local Government Secretary Ronnie Puno in the city’s first district.

Police, however, said they did not find any slug or empty bullet shell inside the vehicle or on the site. — Non Alquitran
