Victory bus torched

-
SISON, Pangasinan — A Baguio City-bound Victory Liner bus with 49 passengers was burned by four people, one of them a woman, here last Tuesday night.

Senior Superintendent Mario Sandiego, provincial police director, said the bus with plate number CWX 697 and body number 1908, had come from Victory Liner’s terminal in Cubao, Quezon City.

When the bus reached Barangay Agat here, a female passenger asked the driver to stop while two of her male companions pointed their guns at him.

The group told the driver to drive to the riverbank, and there ordered the passengers to disembark with their belongings. They then poured gasoline on the bus and lit it. — Eva Visperas, Cesar Ramirez and Artemio Dumlao
