In a resolution last March 19, the Comelec’s first division, presided over by Commissioner Rufino Javier, decided to cancel the certificate of candidacy of Daniel Jatulan after establishing that he re-established residency in Sulat town only last Dec. 8.
With the poll body’s action, re-electionist Mayor Javier Zacate is running unopposed.
