Teen police general to cops: Work for peace

He arrived at this camp in a police car, dressed in a police uniform and with a security detail. He was welcomed by a platoon of policemen and a brass band playing a festive tune, and came with a message that his "subordinates" must work together for peace and progress.
The VIP was "Chief Superintendent" Jeremy Raquel, a 16-year-old high school student of the University of the Assumption in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, who was chosen to be this years youth regional director of the Central Luzon police command as part of the Philippine National Polices 13th anniversary celebration.
During his "command briefing" here yesterday, Raquel said law enforcers should work with the community to achieve a common goal peace and progress.
Senior Superintendent Felizardo Serapio Jr., Bulacan police director, agreed with Raquels call and urged his fellow youths to take an active role in nation-building.
