Spray planes pilot dies in Davao crash

DAVAO CITY The pilot of a single-seater spray plane was killed when the aircraft struck a power line and crashed in a banana plantation in Malalag, Davao del Sur last Monday.
The victim, Capt. Felix Cabardo, was doing his daily rounds of spraying when the tragedy happened, the Air Transportation Office said.
Cabardo worked for Malalag Ventures Plantation Inc., a subsidiary of Lapanday Foods Corp. owned by the family of Agriculture Secretary Luisito Lorenzo. Edith Regalado, Christina Mendez
