Cebuano killed in frat war

CEBU CITY An unidentified man in his 30s was killed by a stray bullet fired during an encounter between suspected members of rival fraternities Alpha Kappa Rho (Akrho) and Tau Gamma Phi here Monday night.
Witnesses told police that three Akrho members were hanging out in a barbershop along R. Padilla street when four Tau Gamma members armed with handguns arrived.
They said the Tau Gamma members shot at the Akrho men without any word or provocation.
The unidentified victim, who was grabbing onto a passenger jeepney, was hit by a stray bullet in the left thigh. He died at the Cebu City Medical Center. Freeman News Service
