A STAR reporter and his wife lost their laptops with a combined worth of P144,000 to robbers who broke into their rented unit in a four-story building at Greenpark Subdivision in Cain-ta, Rizal the other day.
STAR reporter Delon Por-calla told the Cainta police that the robbers took his IPC laptop as well as the Asus laptop of his wife, Inquirer reporter Dona Pazzibugan.
The robbers, Porcalla said, also took a tin can containing P3,000 in five-peso coins he had accumulated.
He said two other units in the building on Sardonyx street were also burglarized.
Porcalla appealed to computer shops to report to the Cainta police (tel. no. 646-0044) or to him through text (0917-7883127) if the stolen laptops are sold to them.
