Caught in the first raid were Joel Vega, 45; his brother Ben, alias "Entot", 35; and their neighbor Gemma Ybañez, 39, all residents of Barangay Cansojong, Talisay.

Armed with a search warrant signed by Judge Ireneo Gako, Talisay police operatives led by Police Inspector Ricardo Nayne arrested the three suspects inside their respective houses at around 5 a.m.

Arrested were Bernie Belleza, 34; and his runners Rommel Gomez, 27, and Antonio Quiapo, 27, all residents of Biasong. The three were arrested inside a house at around 11:30 p.m. .
