Anti-illegal drug drive nets 58

Police have arrested a notorious drug pusher and 57 others during a three-day anti-illegal drug sweep in Laguna.
Mamerto Fariñas, alias Mamet, tagged as the number one drug pusher of Cabuyao, Laguna, and his companions were presented yesterday to Deputy Director General Edgar Aglipay, head of the Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (AID-SOTF) of the Philippine National Police.
Thirty-three of the 58 suspects, including Fariñas, were arrested in buy-busts, 14 while engaged in pot sessions, and 11 by virtue of court-issued warrants, according to Senior Superintendent Edwin Corvera, Laguna police director. Non Alquitran
