Batangas police intel head slain

LEMERY, Batangas The police intelligence chief of Bauan town, who was expecting his promotion to police lieutenant in January, was gunned down by two motorcycle-riding men the other day, authorities said.
Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Magtibay, provincial police director, said the gunmen waylaid SPO4 Ronilo Dimaunahan while he was cruising the highway in Barangay Maguihan aboard his owner-type jeep.
Dimaunahan sustained 10 gunshot wounds from caliber .45 pistols.
Police still have no clues on the killing. Arnell Ozaeta
