The two arrested suspects, Cresencio Peregrino, 67, and Jorge Paladin, 53, were immediately brought to the prosecutors office for the filing of charges against them.
The raiding team, led by Chief Superintendent James Afalla, Solano police chief, and Senior Inspector Dennis Artil, chief of Camp Crames firearms and explosives unit, was armed with search and arrest warrants from Judge Jose Rosales of the local Regional Trial Court.
Among those confiscated from the illegal gun shop located in an isolated lot in Barangay Roxas, were six caliber .38 revolvers, four caliber .22 pistols, a Thompson submachine gun, a Japanese pistol and a caliber .45.
