Cop slain while taking a shower

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A police corporal was gunned down inside his residence in Mexico town Saturday night, authorities said.

Investigators said PO3 Ferdinand Tabong, 37, assigned with the City of San Fernando police, was alone in his home at Sto. Domingo Village in Barangay San Jose Matulid when unknown assailants barged in and shot him dead.

Tabong, who was taking a shower when he was attacked, sustained multiple gunshot wounds from 9mm pistols.
