Salute’ goes to VisMin

The "Three Tenors" — the troika of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jose Lina Jr., Defense Secretary Angelo Reyes and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Bayani Fernando — are going places, literally.

Due to "insistent public demand," Lina said organizers of their recent "Salute" concert are now making preparations for a repeat of the event in the Visayas and Mindanao.

"We don’t know the exact date yet but it’s definite, we will be performing out there," he said.

The concert will likely be staged in Cebu City, while the organizers are still scouting for a Mindanao venue. — Jaime Laude
