Late Saturday afternoon, the remains of Rafanans wife Evelyn, son Raffy Brian, brother Dennis and bodyguard Angelo de Ocampo, were brought to the Rafanan residence in Barangay Tamag here. They will be buried on Wednesday.
Rafanan himself and his daughter Renelyn were wounded in the attack.
Meanwhile, Vice Gov. Jeremias Singson, younger brother of former Ilocos Sur Gov. Luis "Chavit" Singson, has asked the police to go after loose firearms by setting up mobile checkpoints.
He also urged the police to institutionalize their "Operation Bakal" through body searches in public places like restaurants and beer joints. Teddy Molina
