Barangay scribe shoots man dead

BALIUAG, Bulacan A barangay fiesta turned bloody when a barangay official shot dead a 27-year-old man over a heated argument in Barangay Subic in this town Sunday night. Police reports said that Alvin Adrian and Ricardo Magat, barangay secretary engaged in a verbal tussle.
After the heated argument, Adrian went to the carnival with some friends.
When Magat saw Adrian talking to his friends, the barangay secretary approached him and hit his head with the butt of a still undetermined firearm.
Magat reportedly shot Adrians in the legs. The bullet pierced Adrians buttock and caused his death.
His body was brought to a funeral parlor for autopsy.
Magat, who escaped after the incident, and is now being hunted by police will be charged with murder. James Mananghaya
