28 Nokors to pass RP

The government allowed 28 North Korean defectors to pass through Manila on Sunday night on their way to Seoul, South Korea, sources at foreign affairs department said yesterday.

The North Koreans, who sought refuge at the South Korean Embassy in Beijing, are expected to arrive in Manila at 9:10 p.m. from Xiamen and will depart at 11:50 p.m. for Seoul. — Aurea Calica
