Korean linked to killing of compatriot

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya A suspect-turned-witness in the killing of a 52-year-old South Korean car trader, whose decomposing body was found in a mountainous area in Aritao town last week, has tagged another Korean as one of those allegedly behind the killing, police said.
Chief Inspector Teodoro Santos, provincial police intelligence officer, said the suspect, Villamor Julian, has claimed having taken part in the killing of Jeong Ga Chung and has implicated Korean Sam Bum Sim in the crime.
A joint team of the Isabela and Nueva Vizcaya police arrested Julian, a former Army officer, in Reina Mercedes, Isabela last Sunday. Sam was also nabbed that same day.
Julian and Sam, both business partners of the victim, are now under the custody of the Santiago City, Isabela police where Jeongs disappearance on the night of Jan. 21 was first reported.
Jeongs body, which bore stab and gunshot wounds, was found near a ravine in Barangay Kirang in Aritao town, some 35 kilometers from this capital town.
Police are still hunting down a third suspect, a certain Lim, with whom Jeong was last seen in Alicia, Isabela before he disappeared.
