Character Building Foundation lauded

Members of the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) lauded the "Adopt a Character" and "Paint the Future" projects of the Character Building Foundation Inc. during the recent First Philippine Towns and Cities of Character Conference at the Tagaytay International Convention Center.
The conference delegates gave foundation president Heidi Sison a standing ovation after her comprehensive presentation on the urgency of building the Filipino character as a critical foundation for nation-building.
Tagaytay City Mayor Francis Tolentino, LCP president, cited the relevance of the foundations objectives and volunteered his city to be a venue for its projects.
The foundation has launched an advocacy campaign through a series of unique activities such as "Adopt a Character," a touring art exhibition, and "Paint the Future," an on-the-spot art contest for children.
