CLARK FIELD, Pampanga Despite the coming Christmas holidays, Cebu Pacific Air has announced the temporary suspension of its Clark-Cebu flights starting Dec. 19 amid reports of heavy losses due to lack of passengers.
Viveca Vera, Cebu Pacific vice president for corporate planning and external affairs, said the airline is "thoroughly examining more lucrative options" for the Clark-Cebu route.
"We are studying the possibility of mounting unscheduled Clark-Cebu flights to connect with regional charters into Clark," she said.
This strategy, she said, "may generate higher occupancy levels (since) this will service not only domestic passengers but international tourists as well."
She, however, denied that the airline is pulling out of the Clark special economic zone. Ding Cervantes
