The President signed separate administrative orders, all dated Nov. 25, dismissing assistant prosecutors Zenaida Isidro of Tacloban City, Romeo Sampaga and Constancio Velasco, both of Manila, and lawyer Aludia Gadia, head of the Davao City registry of deeds.
Isidro was found guilty of gross dishonesty for falsely declaring a 100 percent disposition rate from 1996 to 1998 when she had a total of 144 unresolved cases, and for stating in her certificate of service that she had no pending cases.
Sampaga had two graft cases, one for getting a loan from a witness and another for issuing bouncing checks for a loan he secured from a private complainant.
Velasco was caught receiving P5,000 he had extorted from a litigant in an entrapment by National Bureau of Investigation agents on Nov. 8, 2001.
Gadia, meanwhile, was dismissed for grave misconduct, based on a complaint filed by Presidential Assistant on Mindanao Affairs Jesus Dureza.
