Pusher held in Masbate drug bust

MASBATE CITY — Drug enforcers recovered 54 sachets of shabu and drug paraphernalia during a search and seizure operation in the house of a suspected drug pusher in Placer town, Masbate, police said yesterday.

Chief Supt. Rodolfo Tor, Bicol police director, identified the suspect as Eduardo Espinosa alias Pepe. Authorities recovered about 24.1124 grams of metamphetamine hydrocloride valued at P538,579.84 from Espinosa’s house.

Tor said the raid was supported by a search warrant issued by Judge Jacinta Tambago of the Regional Trial Court Branch 48 in Masbate City. — Celso Amo
