Police inutile vs bombers?

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY Bad news for Cagayanons! The director of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) has admitted that they are inutile in preventing bombers and terrorists from wreaking havoc in the city, especially during the Yuletide season.
Superintendent Felicisimo Khu Jr. admitted during the City Council session this week that their metal detectors are "outdated" and "unreliable" since they cant detect plastic explosives, which are now used by bombers. He also implied that easing traffic congestion in the citys main streets is more important than securing the city from terrorists and bombers.
He said they would only aggravate the traffic jam in the city if they tighten the citys security through patrols in reply to Vice Mayor John Elizaga comment about the apparent loose security COCPO is implementing in the city. However, Khu tried to save face by disclosing that since their metal detectors are "outdated" and "unreliable," they have deployed three K-9s to sniff out bombs and other explosive devices that so-called enemies of the State might try to sneak inside the city. He also said that they are relying mostly on human eyes to detect bombs. Bong Fabe
