Davao leader urged to run for national barangay top post

Board member Anthony del Rosario of Davao del Norte has been urged by various sectors of Davao and Mindanao to run for national president of the Pambansang Liga ng Barangay. Del Rosario hails from Panabo City and is the son of Davao del Norte Gov. Rodolfo del Rosario.
In his mid thirties, Del Rosario graduated from Ateneo de Manila High School in Quezon City. From Ateneo, he went to the United Kingdom and took up Pre-engineering at Richmond College in London. Del Rosario finished his college degree majoring in Industrial Engineering at Hofstra University in New York City. In 1993, he finished his Masters in Business Administration (MBA), majoring in Finance at Fordham University also in New York.
After working as Operations Manager for Bugle Boy Industries in New York, a major apparel distributor in the US, Del Rosario decided to come back to the Philippines.
