NEDA exec shot dead in Cotabato

COTABATO CITY — A lone gunman shot dead a key regional official of the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) at a busy area here the other day.

The victim, Oscar Ramos, whose wife Socorro is an assistant director of NEDA in Region 12, was reportedly whiling away his time outside their house when the gunman casually approached and shot him in the head with a pistol.

Senior Superintendent Sangacala Dampac, city police chief, said he has fielded intelligence agents to help solve the killing of Ramos, a key technical staffer of NEDA-Region12.

As of press time, probers, however, still had no solid clues on the murder. John Unson
