12-hour water cutoff in Cavite

Bacoor town and parts of Imus and Kawit in Cavite will have no water for 12 hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday.

Maynilad Water said the water service interruption will pave the way for the repair of the leaking 900-mm diameter pipe at the Las Piñas-Bacoor Bridge along the Coastal Road.

The areas to be affected are the whole areas of Bacoor, Niog, Salinas, P.F. Espiritu I-III, Aniban, Maliksi, Sineguelasan, Zapote I, Mabolo I and II, Talab I-VI, Daang Bukid, Alima, Dulong Bayan, Kaingin, Habay, Piñahan, Campo Santo, Tabing Dagat, Banalo and Real.

In Imus, to be affected are Barangays Palico I, II and III, and in Imus, Barangay Balsahan.

Affected customers are advised to store water good for the duration of the water service interruption. They may also call the Maynila hotline 1626 for the water rationing schedule.
