First Gentleman Mike Arroyo will shoulder the expenses for the operation of the girl who was seriously injured when a male suicide fell on her in a freak accident Monday evening in Manila.
Arroyo personally visited Pauline Ramos, 5, of 807 Soler St., Quiapo, Manila at the Cardinal Santos Memorial Hospital in Greenhills, San Juan, Friday noon and handed over P200,000 in cash to the girls parents Luisito and Apple, both 32.
Despite difficulty in movement due to her broken jaw and fractures in different parts of the body, Pauline still managed to smile and wave to Arroyo in appreciation.
Arroyo said should his assistance not be enough, he is ready to continue helping Pauline. He said all that Luisito and Apple have to do is call him.
