President marks Easter on Limasawa

President Arroyo leads todays observance of Easter Sunday in a historic commemoration of the 481st anniversary of the first Mass in the archipelago on Limasawa Island in Southern Leyte.
The Limasawa event will be officiated by Papal Nuncio Bishop Antonio Franco.
Mrs. Arroyo unveiled yesterday the "Freedom Monument," made by Muslim sculptor Abdulmari de Leon Imao Jr., at the Igorot Park in Baguio City where she spent Holy Week.
During the unveiling, she also launched "Project OYSTER (Out-of-School Youth Serving Toward Economic Recovery)," an emergency program for Baguios out-of-work, out-of-school youths. Marichu Villanueva, Artemio Dumlao and Aurora Alambra
