CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga The bodies of five men, suspected to be salvage victims, were found Sunday by policemen in three towns of Nueva Ecija.
Initial reports reaching here from Nueva Ecija police director Sr. Supt. Raul Bacalzo said two bodies were found in Sta. Rosa, two in Rizal and one in Bongabon.
Bacalzo said only one of the victims was identified Antonio Vargas, a suspected member of highway robbery/hold-up gang.
Police said all the victims bore multiple gunshot wounds in different parts of their bodies.
Bacalzo said that the victims were members of the notorious highway/robbery-holdup/hijacking gang operating along the Maharlika and McArthur highways in Central Luzon.
Police said that the five victims might have been the suspects in the robbery-hold-up incident along Daang Maharlika highway in San Jose City last Friday involving a Cagayan bound air-conditioned Ballesteros Express bus. Ric Sapnu
