Digos attack leaves 4 dead

DAVAO CITY Unidentified men strafed a house in Digos City, Davao del Sur Saturday night, killing four people and seriously wounding a 10-year-old boy, the regional police said.
Reports said the motorcycle-riding gunmen attacked the house of the Niebres family whose members were reportedly having their dinner then.
Killed were Alfredo Jr., Narcisa and Benigno, all surnamed Niebres, and one Eduard Capestrano. Wounded was 10-year-old Al Jonathan Niebres.
Digos City has lately been besieged by summary executions of suspected drug pushers, allegedly by vigilantes. At least 10 people have so far been slain. Edith Regalado
