Train rams bus; 16 hurt

LEGAZPI CITY Sixteen people were injured when a Manila-bound train rammed a bus in Guinobatan, Albay last Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
Provincial police director Reynaldo Rafal said the AMDG airconditioned bus was en route to Naga City when it met the accident in Barangay Travesia.
Those injured were identified as Evelyn Oramorin and her four-year-old daughter Judy Ann; Joseph Cariño, Consuelo Opiniano, Armario Eliza, Arnel Bro, Alvin Aguirre, Concepcion Daga, Consuelo Opiniano, Joseph Buban, Armerio Eliño, Concepcion Bongan, Claro Nolasco, Manuel Deporo, Jesus Ollet, Roberto Gaza and Arnel Dio.
The train dragged the bus a few meters. The mishap caused a traffic jam that lasted for hours. Celso Amo
