ZAMBOANGA CITY Interior and Local Government Assistant Secretary Abdurahman Jamasali defended former Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) chairman Nur Misuari yesterday against allegations that he might have received aid from international terrorist Osama bin Laden.
"It is a total lie that (Misuari) benefited from Bin Laden," said Jamasali, reacting to the claim of Sulu Sultan Kiram Ismail II.
"The MNLF has no (ties) with Bin Laden and (Misuari) has never met (Mohammad Jamaal) Khalifa," he said, referring to Bin Ladens son. Roel Pareño
