Two TV men in Davao hurt in road mishap

DAVAO CITY A reporter and a cameraman of GMA-5 TV station here were injured when a 10-wheeler truck rammed into their service vehicle in front of a police station Thursday morning.
Reporter Rudy Encabo was reportedly seriously injured that he has to undergo brain surgery, while cameraman Jay Glodo was declared out of danger.
The two were said to be contractuals of GMA-5 TV station. They were working for the stations "Testigo" news program.
Reports said the two were preparing to make a U-turn to the side of the Sasa police station when the speeding truck, with license plate IDE-988, hit their Nissan Admax.
Friends of the two have initiated a fund-raiser to help defray their hospital expenses. Edith Regalado
